  1. Hi ladies! I’ve listened to your podcast from the beginning – I think I found you because you commented on a Two Gomers site that you had started a podcast, so I went right over to check it out! I have enjoyed your running (and sometimes not running) journeys! Megan, I wanted you to know how much I love your compassion and sensitivity toward others. It says so much about you as a person. I did a running streak one year, so hope you can keep it up! Sue, you are amazing – you give up running, say you are fine with not running, and then all of a sudden you are running 30, 40, 50 miles a week. That is crazy!

I’ve run the Flying Pig Full and Half Marathons lots of times since I live in Cincy. I’m so glad you two love the race. I think they do a great job, and I love how the entire city comes out to support you! I’ll be running the half this year – Maybe I’ll see you at the Expo!

P.S. Sue: Do you have a Venmo account? It sounds like you are going through a stressful time right now financially – I’ve been there and know how you feel. I’d love to be able to send you a little something to help out at least a little bit.

  2. Thanks for the kind words, Patrice, and for being a loyal listener for years. We are so excited for Flying Pig. It really is a fantastic race experience, and if you do see us, please come say hi! Also, I appreciate the generous offer. I was going through a rough time for a little while, but I am doing much better now. Sometimes I forget that I’m not just venting to my friend when I complain on the show. Thank you very much for the support!

    1. Hi Sue!

Sorry for the delay in responding! I would love to meet up with you and Megan sometime this weekend if it works out. I’ll be at the expo around 1-3ish. I can be flexible in time if you’ll be there on Friday. Otherwise, I’ll be in the corral E (for a half marathon finish of 2:11-2:20) if either of you will be there, I can look for you there as well. Feel free to text me at 513-312-5860 to let me know where you are! Good luck to both of you! Here’s hoping the rain holds off!

      Patrice
