  1. Hello! So good that this episode is out this week. Soon I have to start training for my first marathon. Concerning fueling during a Half Marathon: You don´t need any fuel. Did that on April 3 in 2:14:56

    • Thanks! I agree that fuel isn’t necessarily needed during a half, depending on your fitness and time spent running. It’s actually a lot easier to run a half marathon in 2 hours without fuel than if you’re going to be running it in 3 hours. Everyone should find what works for them.🙂

      • yes, sorry. I was thinking about the wrappings of gels lying around at kilometer 16 when i was passing, so many ppl faster than me and spending far less time on their feet used gels. I was just wondering if their relly need that (Sorry for my bad English). Anyway, if you haven`t already recommended it yourself, I found this interessting podcast: http://www.scienceofultra.com
