This week the Runner Girls are joined by author Ray Charbonneau to talk about his latest running book, “Idle Feet Do the Devil’s Work”. Ray shares stories about running as a guide for a visually impaired runner, running a 50K ultramarathon on one two-mile stretch of road, and what he does to improve his running while cooking his oatmeal.
This week Meagan is traveling, so Sue and Katie are holding down the fort at Runner Girls studios. Or attempting to anyway… Katie’s ready for her parents to return to Kentucky, Sue is ready to throw her laptop out the window, and for our weekly topic, we chat with Luke Humphrey from Hansons Marathon Method about the philosophy behind 16 mile long runs, consecutive training days, and the importance of running easy days easy and hard days hard.
This week Meagan is sick again, Katie’s parents are in town, and Sue manages to fix her computer and put out a new episode! Plus, we’re finally catching up on all of the great feedback you’ve been sending us.
